After last week's bounty of seven reviews, we've cut back a little bit this week and have four new ones for you.

We've had a busy week here at Discerning Reader and have seven new reviews for you (which I think must be a record).

I've added a review of Thabiti Anyabwile's new title The Decline of African American Theology, and I've also added a review of Edward Gilbreath's Reconciliation Blues. Both books deal with racial issues and both are well worth the read.

It was a busy week for our reviewers. We've got six new reviews for you.

From Keith Mathison we've got a review of John Calvin's Treatises on the Sacraments and Robert Letham's The Lord's Supper. Keith reads the books that I'm not smart enough to handle...and he does a great job of it.

Tuesdays are for reviews, and this week we have four new ones for you.

Mark Tubbs has a thorough review of the new title by Paul David Tripp: A Quest For More. He says "I am certain A Quest for More will leave you wanting more — of Paul Tripp's writing, of big kingdom living, and most importantly, of Christ its king."

First off, please accept my apologies for not updating the site last week. I was traveling on Tuesday, the day I typically upload new reviews, and simply couldn't carve out the time to make it happen. But I'm trying to atone by adding six new reviews this week.

I added a review of Jerry Bridges' latest book Respectable Sins and, standing in direct opposition to that book, the latest title by Brian McLaren, Everything Must Change.

It's Tuesday today, and that means we have a new lot of reviews for you to read. We've also got a fascinating interview with one of the authors whose work we have reviewed today. So read on!

To start, I've added a short review of Iain Murray's The Life of John Murray. It is not an exhaustive biography of the great Westminster theologian, but it is a good one and is well worth adding to any library.
