The last couple of weeks have been quiet around here (QAH). Reasons abound, one being that I am knee-deep in reading for seminary. I currently attend a rather eclectic seminary here in the Metro Vancouver area of beautiful British Columbia.
In case you're interested in what I'm currently reading for seminary, here are a select few:
How to Read the Bible For All Its Worth by Gordon Fee & Douglas Stuart (Zondervan)
Biblical Interpretation: An Integrated Approach by W. Randolph Tate (Hendrickson)
Shaped by the Word: The Power of Scripture in Spiritual Formation by M. Robert Mulholland Jr. (Upper Room)
The Sacred Journey: A Memoir of Early Days by Frederick Buechner (HarperOne)
The Peacemaker: A Biblical Guide to Resolving Conflict by Ken Sande (Baker)
Life Together: Family, Sexuality and Community in the New Testament and Today by Stephen Barton (T&T Clark)
Five Smooth Stones for Pastoral Work by Eugene Peterson (Eerdmans)
I will be sure to review these books - one day. For now, enjoy, and most importantly, be discerning readers!
