Stephen Dubner

Stephen J. Dubner is the author of the national best-seller Turbulent Souls: A Catholic Son's Return to His Jewish Family and Confessions of a Hero-Worshiper (January 2003, William Morrow/HarperCollins). Confessions tells the story of Dubner's childhood hero, the famous and enigmatic football player Franco Harris, whom Dubner tracked down years later in order to explore the extraordinary pull of hero-worship.
