Pastor Matzat was installed in June of 2002 as the pastor at Zion Lutheran Church in Bridgeville, PA. He has been a pastor in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod for over 35 years serving congregations in Indiana, Michigan, New York City and St. Louis.
Pastor and his wife Dianne live in Canonsburg. They have four children and eight grandchildren. Dianne serves as the secretary of Zion Lutheran Church.
